Sardine Sandwiches
Material:
- 1 can of Ayam Brand™ Sardines in Tomato Sauce 425g
- 3 tbsp oil
- 1 chopped red onion
- 2 red chilies chopped
- 1 tsp sugar
- Juice of 2 calamansi limes
- 1 tbsp fish sauce
- Cucumber
How to make:
- Heat the oil in a pan. Add onions and chilies and fry for 3 minutes.
- Pour in the sardines and add the fish sauce. Stir until the fish crumbles while cooking. Balance the taste with the sugar and cook until almost dry.
- Remove from heat, let cool slightly and mix with lime juice.
- Use as a sandwich spread with white bread with thin slices of cucumber.
