Creamy Pea Soup
Material:
- 425g Chicken Brand™ Processed Peas
- 3 cloves of garlic, chopped
- 30g onion, roughly chopped
- 60g potatoes, peeled, cut into small pieces
- 500 ml of chicken broth
- 60ml fresh milk
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp sugar
- Oil for frying
Complementary:
- 3 pieces of white bread, cut into small cubes
- 1 tbsp butter
- ½ tsp oregano
How to make:
- Sauté the garlic and onion until fragrant.
- Add Chicken Brand™ Processed Peas and potato pieces, cook briefly.
- Add broth and all seasonings.
- Cook until it boils and the potatoes are tender.
- Pour fresh milk, stir until smooth.
- Remove the cooked soup, blender until smooth.
Topping:
- Melt the butter.
- Add the oregano and diced white bread.
- Fry until the bread is evenly distributed and crispy.
- Serve over soup.
